Duniya hasino ka mela…

I remember a very old Indian song by that name. If I understand it correctly, it means “the world is full of smiling women”. Hehe. With the long haired hero of the movie with all them girls…

Bhagwati Devi often made the comment about the world being a “mela” to which I’d bring up the above. She would giggle…

But she’s right.

The world is indeed a “mela” – a carnival in many regards.

What she also meant is what goes around comes around. But she just didn’t say it directly.

My world starts at – or under her soles.

And it ends there, as Madam relaxes.

And as it should be.

Truly, Duniya hasino ka – or “Bhagwatiyon” ka “mela”? Hehe.

I’m sure Madam would agree!
