I don’t know if Madam Jyoti wore them! For her it was mostly flip flops, those pink ones I hold, held and still do so dear, worshipping them reverently even now!

I’ve been seeing the color yellow all around – and blue. No pun(s) even given the nature of all we talk about here.
But, women in jootis?
Lots of women wear them. Carol did too, long after we “broke up in the relationship that never ended”, I remember her giggling shyly as I looked at her high heels, toes painted red – and short red dress she always wore – she knew I loved it- and her version of jootis. Not sure what those are called in China!
I’ve written a lot about this before, but jootis add an extra dimension to foot worship, if just because they make the feet sweat and smell more even in winter.

The color of sun, even soles sometimes – no, not the jaundiced ones, China, yellow, all coming together so well!
And as I see Indian women all around me in jootis, yellow dresses and such I gotta write this.
